Partnership is done based on the Decree of the Usakti Chancellor Number: 197/USAKTI/SKR/IX/2014 concerning the Enforcement of the Trisakti University Partnership Guidelines. Partnership is carried out to improve the performance of universities that work together. The collaboration includes activities such as: Management of higher education, Education, Research and Community Service. The principles in implementing the cooperation program are:

1. Equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit.
2. The climate of competition in togetherness (friendly competition).
3. Complementary relationships.
4. With the micro evolution unit paradigm, starting small and becoming a bigger synergy.
5. Built in an innovative, creative, synergistic, and mutually complementary manner in order to provide added value in the form of improving the quality of education.
6. Provide equal benefits for the parties and stakeholders involved, and can be implemented in a sustainable manner.
7. Must comply with the general regulation of higher education, national law, and applicable international law.
8. Contribute to the improvement of the nation’s competitiveness and the interests of national development.
9. Does not interfere with national and state development policies, defense and national security.

As of the 2020/2021 academic year, FKG Usakti has 50 domestic partnerships. Domestic partnerships are also carried out by each study program. FKG Usakti has 21 international partnerships with dentistry schools and institutions in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
