On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti, held the Oath-Taking Ceremony for New Dentists of the Even Semester II, Academic Year 2023/2024. The event took place at the Aston Kartika Hotel & Conferences in West Jakarta and was attended by 94 new dentist graduates, along with their parents/guardians, invited guests, and the Senate of the Faculty of Dentistry, Usakti.

The ceremony began with an Academic Report delivered by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. drg. Yohana Yusra, M.Kes. Following this, the oath-taking was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, M.Kes, Sp. BMM, PhD, and was recited by all the new dentist graduates, each reaffirming the oath according to their respective religions.

Next, the Chairman of PB PGDI presented the code of ethics booklet, followed by the awarding of Membership Certificates to the new graduates as members of the Trisakti Faculty of Dentistry Alumni Association. Special recognition, including a certificate, sash, and prizes, was given to the top graduates: drg. Hiroko Gabriela Amanda, SKG, who achieved the highest GPA of 3.85, and drg. Fransisca Victoria Kusuma, SKG, along with drg. Hiroko Gabriela Amanda, SKG, who achieved the highest national CBT UKMP2DG score of 97.5.

The event also included speeches from the Rector of Trisakti University, a representative of the new dentists, a representative from the parents, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Usakti. Mementos were presented to the Faculty of Dentistry, the Usakti Dental Hospital, and Universitas Trisakti. The ceremony concluded with a video screening, a song performance by the new dentists, and a group photo session.
