The Dental Material & Testing Center of Reserch and Education (DMTCore) Laboratory was inaugurated by the Dean of FKG Trisakti University Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, MKes on August 28, 2019 The DMTCore Laboratory is a research laboratory established with the aim of supporting learning and teaching activities and the development of research activities of the academic community within the scope of Trisakti University in particular and throughout Indonesia in general. On the basis of the above and driven by a noble desire to jointly improve laboratory services.

Research that can be conducted at the DMTCore Laboratory:
- Tensile strength test with universal testing machine
- Diametral tensile strength test with universal testing machine
- Compressive strength test with universal testing machine
- Shear bond strength test with universal testing machine
- Flexural strength test (3 Point Bending) with universal testing machine
- Surface roughness test with surface roughness tester
- Digital tooth discoloration test with VITA Easy Shade V spectrophotometer
- Analog tooth color change test with Vita 3D Master and Vita Classical shade guide
- Wavelength and light strength test with radiometer / LED lightmeter
- Molding material accuracy test
- Hardening time / setting time test of hydrocolloid and polymer molding materials
- Hardening time / setting time test of gypsum products
- Polymerization test of resin composite filling materials
- Mass and dimensional change test of dental materials
Flow of Use of Laboratory Services:
- The service user submits a research proposal with or a loan letter for the equipment needed to support the research objectives;
- The reviewer will determine the person in charge or field supervisor, materials and costs required;
- Service users complete the specified administration before starting their work in the laboratory.
Laboratory Service Usage Fee
- Determined based on the calculation of the value of goods, maintenance costs and operational costs including tool depreciation costs.
- Paid to the Affiliate Unit of FKG Usakti.
Research Procedures in the DMTCore Laboratory:
- Submit a research proposal to the DMTCore Lab.
- The proposal review team will review the research proposal within 1-2 weeks.
- The review team will issue a list of tools, materials and prices needed in the research and appoint a supervisor.
- Create a research work time-table.
