FKG Usakti’s Faculty Research and Community Service Council (DRPMF) is responsible for the implementation and performance of lecturers in the dharma of Research and dharma of Community Service. DRPMF together with the Study Program organizes Research and Research-based Community Service and implements the results in courses/modules.

Research Field

The implementation of research in Trisakti University refers to the Research Guide that is available as an effort to achieve research results that provide superior value both in quality and quantity.  Research Guide was published based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Trisakti University Number 125/USAKTI/SKR/V/2010. The implementation of the research process includes:

  1. Assessment of research proposals by DRPMF at faculty level
  2. Approval of research proposals at faculty and university level.
  3. Issuance of research assignments by the Dean
  4. Monitoring and evaluation of research progress by DRPMF
  5. Reporting research results to faculties and universities. All processes have been documented but the documentation is distributed at the faculty and university level in hardcopy. Documentation of research reports is also in softcopy (CD and email).

At the end of each academic year, each researcher is required to make a research report containing the results of the research in accordance with the proposed research proposal. The results of the research are submitted to the DRPMF as the daily administrator of research management at the faculty level. The DRPMF will check the completeness and adequacy of the research report, and then the DRPMF will submit the research report to the Higher Education Leaders (Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi) through the Trisakti University Research Institute as research manager at the university level. The research report in hardcopy form is documented by the Research Institute. Research reports that receive financial support from outside Trisakti University, for example research grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) are reported online by each lead researcher at a predetermined time.

Research involving students will be in accordance with the needs of lecturers, Study Centers and Research Laboratories at FKG Usakti. When this culture is formed, it is hoped that student research, which is usually difficult, tiring, and requires a heavy budget, can be carried out more easily because it is part of the lecturer’s research. The results of student research are not only for thesis purposes but also as a contribution as research for lecturers and study programs. To improve the output of scientific work in journals, FKG Usakti has 2 online journals, namely the Jurnal Kedokteran Gigi Terpadu (JKGT) and the Scientific Dental Journal which is accredited by Sinta 2, DOAJ and has international standards.
