The Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Trisakti organized the Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) or Introduction to Campus Life for New Students on 27–28 August 2025. PKKMB serves as an initial orientation program and a crucial moment for shaping new students’ understanding of academic values, campus culture, organizations, and ethical conduct. This activity aims to equip new students with comprehensive insights into their roles and responsibilities as members of the academic community while building a strong foundation for developing their character and potential in the future.

PKKMB not only introduces students to the academic system, campus organizational structure, and academic regulations, but also prepares them to be critical, adaptive, and collaborative in facing challenges within the university environment.

New students were introduced to various student activity units (UKM), student organizations, and discussion forums that serve as platforms for developing non-academic potential and leadership skills.

This year’s PKKMB carried the theme OBTURATION: “Opening Bridges to Uncover Realities, Adapt Together, Reflect With Awareness, and Own Newfound Purpose Through Integrity.” The theme embodies the aspiration to shape future dentists who are inspirational through innovation and strong ambition. It reflects a determination to become role models for future dentists by demonstrating courage in facing challenges, independence throughout the learning process, and a commitment to continuous development through innovation.

This mandatory event was attended by 172 new students.
