Faculty of Medicine (FK) and Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Trisakti University held a Halal Bihalal event with the theme “Forgiveness & New Beginnings: Celebrating the Spirit of Eid al-Fitr” on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Ki Hajar Dewantara Lobby, Campus B Trisakti University. This activity was attended by Vice Rectors I, III, and IV, as well as all leaders, lecturers and education staff from both faculties.

The event opened with the reading of Tilawah and Saritilawah by FK students: Ilham and Dhiya, followed by remarks from the Chairperson of the Committee, dr. Donna Adriani K.M., M.Biomed., AIFO.

Dean of FK Usakti, Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, in his speech conveyed the importance of the Halal Bihalal moment as a means of strengthening the relationship between the academic community. The same thing was also conveyed by the Dean of FKG Usakti, dr. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, M.Kes., Sp.BBM., Ph.D, who appreciated the togetherness across faculties in this post-Idul Fitri momentum.

The highlight of the event was filled with tausiyah and prayer together delivered by Ustadz Khalid Basalamah. In his lecture, he emphasized the importance of forgiving each other and maintaining friendship, especially in the academic and work environment.

As a form of appreciation, the committee also distributed door prizes to the participants. The event was closed with a handshake and hospitality session.

This Halal Bihalal activity is a moment of reflection as well as strengthening solidarity between employees and lecturers of FK and FKG Trisakti University in the spirit of togetherness and blessings in the month of Shawwal.
