On Wednesday, November 30, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti (FKG Usakti), held the Oath-Taking Ceremony for New Dentists of Odd Semester I, Academic Year 2024/2025. The event took place at the Grand Inn Hotel, Jakarta, and was attended by 78 graduates, their parents/guardians, invited guests, and members of the FKG Usakti Senate.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the Academic Report by Dr. drg. Yohana Yusra, M.Kes, Vice Dean I of FKG Usakti. This was followed by the recitation of the oath led by the Dean of FKG Usakti, drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, M.Kes, Sp. BMM, PhD, with all new dentist graduates participating. The oath-taking was reaffirmed individually in accordance with the graduates’ respective religious beliefs.

Highlights of the Ceremony

• Presentation of the Code of Ethics Manual: Delivered by the Chairman of PB PGDI.
• Membership Certificates: Distribution of membership certificates to the new graduates as members of the FKG Usakti Alumni Association.
• Awards: Recognition of outstanding graduates, including a certificate, sash, and prize. The top honor was awarded to drg. Joey Danwiek, SKG, who achieved a GPA of 3.85 and scored 100 on the national CBT UKMP2DG, the highest score in the country.

The event also featured remarks from the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, representatives of the new dentists, a parent representative, and the Dean of FKG Usakti. Tokens of appreciation were presented to FKG Usakti, the Dental and Oral Hospital of FKG Usakti (RSGM FKG Usakti), and Universitas Trisakti.

The ceremony concluded with a video screening, a musical performance by the new dentists, and a group photo session, marking a memorable milestone for the graduates and their families.
