The Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Trisakti once again organized the Forum Kursus (FOKUS) 2023 event, which took place over 2 days from December 9 to 10, 2023, at Campus B of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti.

The organizing committee invited 15 keynote speakers who delivered lectures and seminars attended by 750 participants. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Rector IV of Usakti, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes, who, in her opening remarks, commended the FOKUS 2023 committee for successfully hosting the event amidst their busy schedules as lecturers, staff, and students, with only 4 months of preparation.

The program continued with speeches from the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, M.Kes, Sp.BMM, PhD, and the chairman of the FOKUS 2023 organizing committee, Dr. drg. Elline, Sp.KG, SubSp.KR(K). In separate interviews, they shared the significance of the FOKUS 2023 event’s theme, “Updating Skills and Knowledges in Dentistry Through Applied Technology and Community Services.” The theme serves as a reminder for participants, who are dentists and future dentists, to continuously keep up with the latest developments in dental medicine to support clinical success in the era of globalization.
